Position Summary
The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Programs Manager and the Operations Manager for a period of 12 months. This person will be responsible of the quality of implementation of INJAZ programs in different areas and will:
- Ensure that INJAZ program is being delivered in high quality and according to INJAZ Lebanon’s Program Implementation Standards (PIS) and donors’ standards
- Support the Programs Manager in the mapping of MSMEs and the Monitoring & Evaluation of the project
- Ensure that good coordination with all project’s stakeholders is maintained The Project Coordinator will be reporting to the Programs Manager
The Project Coordinator will be reporting to the PM. This person will be responsible of the quality of implementation of INJAZ Lebanon project with the MSMEs and will:
- Map MSMEs under 3 main sectors: Education & Edutainment sector, Cultural & Creative Sector, and Green Entrepreneurship Sector.
- Identify and a the MSMEs that INJAZ will be working with them
- Be responsible for the content/materials preparation, development, and facilitation according to the MSMEs needs (Customized content for every MSME)
- Focus on the importance of the Digital transformation through the trainings
- Organize programs delivery, ensures youth retention to the project and maintains good relation with all partners.
- Initiate contacts with the MSMEs and promotes INJAZ Lebanon programs in line with the project requirements
- Organize, manage the logistics, and attend study tours with the MSMEs
- Work on the needs assessment of these MSMEs, and manage the distribution of the prizes accordingly
- Organize the competition and work on the logistics
- Support in approaching companies in recruiting and training volunteers to deliver the programs
- Support in systemizing interaction with students, data collection, communication and grant reporting.
Responsibilities
- Program implementation and quality:
- Knowledgeable of INJAZ Lebanon implemented program and ensures that it is being delivered according to the Programs Implementation Standards shared by the Regional Office and the donors’ standards
- Contact youth and MSMEs regularly to ensure smooth running and quality delivery of programs and appropriate outreach after creating the reach plan
- Schedule, attend, and lead on the implementation in the needed area and update the management on a daily basis on the delivery sheet
- Work on the programs content, materials preparation, and presentation with the needed tools
- Facilitate and deliver programs whenever needed
- Ensure an adequate number of classes (including students reach) to reach target and support in outreach
- Gather testimonials from the youth. Takes pictures of selected sessions deliveries.
- Support in the adaptation of programs through feedback and comments shared by school representatives and student
- Assist in Trainers/Volunteers/Interns’ Management:
- Recruit the needed volunteers/trainers/interns and conduct their training
- Ensure good coordination and positive relationships with the area trainers/interns/volunteers and get their regular feedbacks on the projects/programs
- Gather all the legal documents for the trainers/coaches/partners/suppliers/service providers
- Monitoring & Evaluation
- Collect data for the implemented program (pre-post tests, attendance sheets, pictures, testimonials, trainers’ feedback) for reporting purposes
- Update database, information sheets and insert data collected on reporting sheets
- Assure that all information sheets and delivery schedule are updated at all times
- Logistics & Administrative Support
- Coordinate and manage the logistics required for the implementation of the activities whenever needed
- Abide to all the financial & procurement regulations of the project
- Ensure availability of all program materials and coordinates with Project Manager on printing requirements
- Others:
- Attend team meetings
- Undertake other related duties, as assigned or requested by the Programs Manager
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or another relevant field
- 1-2 years of professional experience in education, business or social sector including management experience
- Sincere interest in the mission of INJAZ Lebanon and in entrepreneurship.
- Knowledgeable of the ecosystem (Education, & NGOs)
- Strong relationship-building and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Highly organized and motivated, ability to multitask in a timely manner, team player
- Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic
