Enumerator

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is a non-governmental, humanitarian organization with 60 years of experience in helping to create a safer and more dignified life for refugees and internally displaced people. NRC advocates for the rights of displaced populations and offers assistance within the shelter, education, emergency food security, legal assistance, and water, sanitation and hygiene sectors.

The main purpose of the Enumerator is to support the monitoring & evaluation team in data collection.

Activities:

  1. The volunteer will be responsible to call NRC beneficiaries on a daily basis.
  2. He/She will be responsible to fill assessments as required with high proficiency
  3. Fill accurate information collected via phone using excel as a tool
  4. He/She will be responsible to follow the M&E standard procedures for data collection

Qualifications and Relevant Skills:

  • Bachelor degree in social sciences, humanities, quantitative/qualitative research methods, public health, or related field.
  • Relevant work experience in data collection (in Arabic) as part of a research team – preferably in social work, community development, non-government, and/or outreach organizations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
