Center Coordinator

The Popular Aid for Relief and Development (PARD) is an independent grassroots organization working on gender equality and women’s empowerment, child protection, youth empowerment, environmental health, and relief for people in distress among Palestinian and Lebanese communities and refugees from Syria.

PARD is committed to fulfilling child rights in protection against abuse, neglect, exploitation, and violence as contained in the United Nations Convention on Child Rights and other human rights agreements.

Job Purpose: Support the implementation of the child protection project and education plans for refugee children in cooperation with the coordinator in South - Maashouk Center. Please be a resident of Maachouk 

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the project coordinator and project officer to maximize productivity.
  • Manages, coordinates, and ensures the logistics and procurement of all day-to-day activities in project sites
  • Enter attendance for all activities taking place in the center.
  • Collects and shares with the coordinator the data for internal reporting and relevant working groups on activities and challenges.
  • Responsible for the center.

Requirements:

  • BA in education, preschool education, social sciences, or another related field- or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in child education, 
  • Understand and comply with the Child Protection and PSEA Policy
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Excellent Arabic and English Language
  • Basic computer literacy is mandatory (e.g: excel, word, mailbox/communication)
