The Opportunity
Under the overall supervision of Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning Manager, the Accountability and Evaluation Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality Accountability system, that ensures Save the Children Lebanon is accountable to the children and communities it supports, as well as for supporting project evaluation processes. In addition, general support may be provided to general Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning processes.
In order to be successful you will bring/have:
- University Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written skills in Arabic and English
- Experience and knowledge of monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning approach and system
- Experience in accountability, and child and adult participatory approaches
- Skills in computer and statistical software such as Microsoft and SPSS, STATA, or R
- Skills in designing and implementing information management and performance measurement frameworks
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word, and ability to use computer programs to collect, document and share assessment and monitoring results
