Midwife - Wadi Khaled Primary Health Care Center

 - Job Objective:  Identify and carry out all patient’s nursing care with high level of provided services.

 - Main tasks:  

Administer direct prenatal, intrapartum and postpartum patient services and primary care to low to moderate risk obstetrical and gynecological patients

Consult obstetrician and co-manage comprehensive care for high-risk patients

Ensure compliance with health and safety measures in workplace

Perform lifesaving emergency measures pending obstetrician arrival

Provide needed care for newborn following delivery

Provide needed advice and care for women before and after delivery

Provide needed support during delivery process

Teach mothers breast feeding and child care techniques

Check narcotic medications

Provide needed support to all patients taking into consideration their physical, psychological and safety needs

Prepare necessary equipment and assist in diagnostic tests and therapeutic measures

Prepare patients physically and emotionally for treatments and diagnostic procedures

Carry out medical treatment as assigned by physicians

Provide medication to patients as assigned by physicians

Answer all patients’ inquiries

Provide needed teaching to patients and family members

Respond to emergency medical cases with promptness and proper judgment

Know how to use all primary health care center medical equipment

Ensure to maintain a quiet and clean environment for patients

Prepare accurate report on patients cases and conditions

Carry out all medical orders

 

Requirements: 

- Bachelor degree in Midwifery.

- Registered in the Midwives Syndicate, Licensed - holds work permit.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Compassionate and caring for patients.

- Flexible to work Day/Night Shifts.
