Scope of work:
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of some of the support center’s projects and will be working closely with the KAFA director as well as other support center team members.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
1- Tasks related to Project management, implementation, and coordination:
- Provide technical leadership related to the design, planning, implementation, and overall management of the assigned project(s);
- Acting as a focal point with the Donor;
- Managing and coordinating project activities to reach project objectives and results;
- Contribute to the development of new project proposals
- Work closely with the team to develop project strategies and work plans.
- Participate in the development of policy briefs, research, advocacy materials, and lessons learned.
- Coordinate between different programs and projects to ensure proper collaboration
2- Tasks related to Monitoring and evaluation:
- Supervise activities and verify the correctness of the implementation of project planning, financial requirements, and timeframe;
- Maintains a monitoring system; developing and defining the M&E tools; Monitor project progress and implementation and ensure necessary documentation;
3- Tasks related to Reporting;
- Develop progress and annually narrative reports project and activities reports as requested by the Donor;
- Assist the Financial team in elaborating financial reports as well as eventual project budgets;
4- Other tasks;
- Ensure capacity building of the support center team in coordination with the support center supervisor;
- Attend meetings; workshops; interviews and trainings when asked for;
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by KAFA’s director.

• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines; Sociology; Public Health; Social Work or other related studies
• At least three years of experience in project coordination
• Demonstrated understanding of GBV in general.
• Experience in a non-governmental organization, and a good knowledge of the local context
• Possess excellent report writing, presentation, and documentation skills Demonstrate ability to train and build the capacity of others.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer Literacy including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Teamwork.
