Tasks & Responsibilities
• Provide assessment and case study for each juvenile.
• Conduct and individual psychotherapy session for each juvenile two times a week.
• Procure a follow up of the juveniles' families after coordinating and attendance of the Correctional Center's Program Coordinator.
• Observe both the juveniles and staff to maintain healthy dynamics at work.
• Diagnose and treat various mental, emotional and behavioral disorders.
• Prepare awareness and preventive sessions in order to avoid problems that the juvenile may encounter.
• Conduct group psychotherapy sessions one a week.
• Provide referral services to therapists, clinics and treatment centers after obtaining written approval from the Correctional Center Program coordinator.
• Send an evaluation and diagnosis report about each juvenile via email and put it in their own records.
• Arrange all related documents and reports concerning the juvenile in the center.
• Support management in intervening when needed in cases of emergency.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Master’s Degree is a plus.
• Certification or Proof of Training in Child Protection, Do No Harm, and Ani-Harassment is mandatory for this role, incase candidate does not have it, we can offer it if shortlisted.
• Training or certifications in the following is highly valued:
o Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology.
o Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology.
o Clinical Psychology.
o Counseling Psychology.
o Trauma Treatment & Assessment Psychology.
Experience
• 3+ years of experience as a psychologist, psycho-therapist, counselor or the like is a must.
• Experience in working with children and youth is highly valued.
Education
