Sexual and Reproductive Health Assistant - Zahle

The Opportunity

Under the management of the Food Security and Livelihoods Officer, the Sexual and Reproductive Health Assistant is responsible for delivering and following up on Early Childhood Development and Health activities on the field in Multi-Service Community Centers.

The Sexual and Reproductive Health Assistant will be responsible for the direct implementation of project activities. The project activities will include but will not be limited to delivering awareness raising for children and caregivers on health-related issues. Moreover, the Sexual and Reproductive Health Assistant will be responsible for increasing awareness on health Early Childhood Development and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights issues in both the Multi-Service Community Centers. and the refugee community.

In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.

In order to be successful you will bring/have:

• Bachelor`s degree in Nursing, Nutrition, or another Health related field.
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English.
• At least 1years’ experience in the health field.
• Experience in Health and Early Childhood Development programming and community mobilisation.
• Ability to write weekly and monthly reports; and
• Commitment to and understanding of Save the Children’s aims, values and principles including rights-based approaches.
