LTA FOR VEHICLE RENTAL SERVICE

1. Goal and Objectives of Assignment

Search Lebanon is looking for service of vehicle rentals for its operations in the country. The vehicles will be based in our office in Beirut , but work will be done throughout the country.

 

2. Ethical Considerations

The contracted party shall take into consideration all factors to ensure that the work is done in a conflict sensitive manner and that no harm is done while implementing the activity. This includes social, security, safety, environmental, economic, and gender-related factors.

 

3. Timeline

From April 2023  till March 2024

 

4. Specifications of the Rental Vehicle Services Required

The vehicle to be rented must meet the following specifications:

  • Economic fuel consumption vehicles, 4 cylinder, 2x4 and 4x4;
  • Equipped with minimum 2 airbags;
  • Equipped with road safety tools as requested by the Lebanese traffic law (1st aid kit, reflective vest, warning triangle, small tool kit);
  • Equipped with GPS that have a clear visible SOS bottom, giving Search access to the system;
  • Have valid insurance policy (third party and obligatory);
  • All traffic fees are paid and covered;
  • Maintenance terms and coverage
  • Accidents franchise and replacement car provision
  • Scratch and dent charging policy (size / rate)

1.     A company portfolio detailing:

  • The types of vehicle rental services offered;
  • Experience of providing similar services;
  • Areas in Lebanon your company provides services;
  • Also attach details of key directors of the company or firm;
  • Company documents (Business registration / commercial registry / tax registration);
  • Contact persons and Business references list of not less than 3 customers (minimum 2 NGOs);
  • Signed and stamped price quotation as per the request (reflect any taxes in the quotation); and
  • Price to be reflected  in both USD and LBP

 

2.     A financial proposal for the vehicle rental stating:

  • Monthly car rental of a 2x4 sedan vehicle;
  • Monthly car rental of a 4x4 vehicle;
  • Daily car rental of a 2x4 sedan vehicle;
  • Daily car rental of a 4x4 vehicle;
  • Driver daily rate for full day (8hrs) and for long day (12hrs);
  • All inclusive (tous risk) full Insurance coverage including mechanical and physical damages .
  • Maintenance terms and coverage;
  • Accidents franchise and replacement car provision; and
  • Scratch and dent charging policy (size / rate)
