I. Main areas of responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all field activities, including programs’ implementation, monitoring, and reporting
- Ensure that all field activities comply with AICA's policies and procedures, including those related to security, finance, and HR
- Ensure that field activities are carried out in a timely and efficient manner and in accordance with AICA’s SOPs
- Supervise and manage program staff working in the field.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with local communities, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical support to program staff in the field, and ensure they are trained and equipped to carry out their duties
effectively.
- Ensure that programs’ data are collected, managed, and reported accurately and on time
- Participate in the design, implementation, and monitoring of program activities.
- Ensure that all program activities comply with donor's requirements
- Coordinate with other departments (logistics, finance, etc.) to ensure that activities are supported and implemented efficiently.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Head of Programs on program implementation, Progress, and challenges.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Programs.
The above list is a non-exhaustive one, nor limitative, the field coordinator could be asked to cover other responsibilities and tasks within the framework of his/her job on demand of the line manager.
II. Qualifications & Requirements:
Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as social sciences, business administration. Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing field activities related to one or more of the following sectors: health, food security, livelihoods/career acceleration, protection, and education.
Languages: Fluent in Arabic, Professional command in writing and speaking English, Basic French.
Personal qualities and soft skills:
- Experience in managing teams and working with local communities and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the LCRP and different Ministries’ activities is an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Computer Skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Information management, and project management tools.

- Have strong understanding of the North Lebanon context, preferably a current resident of Tripoli.
