The Social Behavioural Change Officer will be responsible of:

• Identifying, assessing and refering of Children with Disabilities;
• Support in building up the inclusion service mapping;
• Actively engage with local stakeholders to mainstream disability in existing services;
• Using a participatory approach and under the guidance of the program manager, develop an area-based inclusion plan which aim to:

• Mainstream disability in diverse existing services;
• Tackle behavioral and attitudinal barriers to inclusion;

• Implement SBCC initiatives and inclusion activities;
• Regularly report to the program manageron progress, challenges, ways forward …

1. Required qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in social work or any related field;
• At least 2 to 5 years of expertise in the community work;
• Excellent written English and Arabic, French is an asset;
• Good interpersonal skills, influencing skills and cross-cultural sensitivity;
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Strong networking and coordination skills,
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills,
• Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

2. Supervision

The SBCO will work under the supervision of the program manager.

3. Working hours

The SBCO will work five days a week, 8 hours per day.
