The USAID-funded Lebanon Agriculture and Rural Empowerment (ARE) Activity, implemented by Chemonics International, aims to develop rural economies in Lebanon through support to the agro-food sector and other industries to unlock local and export sales potential while also creating jobs and increasing farmers' and workers' incomes.
As part of the USAID-Funded ARE activity, Chemonics is soliciting proposals from eligible suppliers who are specialized in Industrial Equipment Filling and Packaging Machines, to Supply, Deliver and Install a Filling and Packaging Line.

Offerors are responsible for ensuring that their offers are submitted in accordance with the instructions stated herein. Failure to adhere with the instructions described herein may lead to disqualification of a proposal from consideration.

Questions regarding the technical or administrative requirements of this RFQ may be submitted no later than 05:00 PM Beirut Local time on April 4, 2023, by email to procurement@lebanonare.org Questions must be submitted in writing; phone calls will not be accepted. Questions and requests for clarification—and the responses thereto—that Chemonics believes may be of interest to other offerors will be circulated to all RFQ recipients who have indicated an interest in bidding by April 9, 2023.
All quotations to this RFQ must be received via email by the deadline no later than 5:00 PM Local Beirut time on April 21, 2023 to procurement@lebanonare.org, with “RFQ_ARE_021_03_23” in the email subject line.
Technical and financial offers must be received as two separate documents in the same email.
