Local Field Coordinator

Position Title: Local Field Coordinator 
Duration: 8 months 
Starting date: As soon as possible
Reporting to: Project Manager 
Location of assignment: Home-based with frequent field visits
Level of effort: Part-time (50%)

Project location: Beqaa or Baalbek-Hermel Lebanon

Brief about the project: Peace Labs is conducting technical conflict research on Water-Instability in both the Beqaa and the Baalbek-Hermel Governorates, in addition to providing a lead international development agency with advisory services on conflict-sensitive programming, dialogue facilitation and knowledge production on the aforementioned topic/sector. Actors involved are the Beqaa Water Establishment (BWE) Municipalities, Unions of Municipalities, Mukhtars, Local NGOs, Local Development Committees, Youth and Women groups. 

Qualification and Skills:
- Any post school degree with a preference for a degree in Social Work or Business.  
- At least 3 years of Local Field Coordination experience
- Advanced understanding of the Lebanese Context and the Beqaa region in specific
- Highly communicative and fluent in Arabic both orally and in writing
- Culturally sensitive with a high level of understanding of social etiquette in different social and professional environments

- Meeting local stakeholders  
- Contacting local stakeholder 
- Organizing local meetings or events
- Providing logistical support to meetings or events
- Attending local meeting or events 
- Taking notes during meetings and events
- Reporting on meetings and events 
- Compile invoices and receipts related to project's activities
