The Life Skills Educator, will handle the responsibility of planning and conducting the Life Skills course to youth between 15 - 30 years old in order for them to develop basic interpersonal skills. Main tasks are:
- To develop and deliver course plans in line with quality standards, as coordinated with the supervisor.
- To prepare weekly/monthly work plans and progress report, adhering to quality standards.
- To cooperate and to work closely with other educators to improve delivery and ensure smooth work process.
- To track students’ progress, attendance, and prepare back-up plans for students facing challenges and drop outs.
- To prepare tests, worksheets, and other activities as delegated by the supervisor.
- To support in promoting for the youth program through outreach activities.
- To coach the youth while planning and executing their social initiatives and business startups.
Qualifications Required
Requirements
Practical experience for at least two years in facilitating Life Skills sessions pertaining to personal development skills that focus on raising the self-confidence of the participants toward becoming solution makers. Moreover, the applicant shall have the skills in coaching on business and simple project management skills.
Ideal candidate
- Very good communication skills.
- Experience working with youth training programs.
- Problem solving and planning skills.
- Ability to use computer and Microsoft office (basic to intermediate level)
- Able to train and mentor with youth between 15-30 years old.
