Responsibilities:
- Implement the project MEAL system, including the development of tools and indicators to measure project outcomes and impact.
- Monitor project progress against the project log frame and work plans, identifying and reporting on any delays, issues or risks to the Program Manager.
- Design and implement project evaluations, including baseline, mid-term and final evaluations, and other research activities as required.
- Ensure that project data is properly collected, analyzed and reported in a timely and accurate manner, and that it is used to inform project decision-making.
- Work with the Program Manager and other project staff to develop project reports, including donor reports, that clearly communicate project progress and impact.
- Provide technical support to project staff on data collection, analysis, and reporting, and ensure that they are aware of and adhere to the project MEAL system.
- Ensure that the project is compliant with donor reporting requirements and that reports are submitted on time.
- Promote learning and knowledge sharing within the organization and with project partners, ensuring that lessons learned are documented and disseminated.
- Participate in regular project review meetings with the Program Manager and other project staff to review project progress, identify issues and risks, and develop action plans to address them.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, development studies, statistics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation of development projects, preferably in conflict resolution and youth reintegration programs.
- Strong analytical and data management skills, including experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis software.
- Knowledge of project management principles and experience in developing and implementing project M&E plans.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability and willingness to commute to Tripoli and Beirut as required.
