Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and the company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.
The ScaleSmart program aims to support pre-seed or seed startups working in different sectors to scale up by equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to plan a solid fundraising path, matching them with investors and investment opportunities, and improving their chances of successfully raising funds.
Scope of workThe ScaleSmart program seeks a go-to-market/sales consultant to assist scaleups in setting the correct go-to-market plan for successful launch/market expansion of their product. The engagement includes one-on-one sessions with the startups for tailored guidance over the duration of 4 months to deliver the following, as applicable:
- Assisting startups in developing/expanding their go-to-market strategy, including targeting and product positioning, pricing, distribution channels, and promotion based on latest market/sector trends.
- Assisting startups in setting a comprehensive marketing plan that outlines the tactics and activities required to execute the go-to-market strategy. This includes supporting the startups in determining the required budget for the marketing plan.
- Providing guidance and support to the internal marketing and sales team of the startups to ensure effective implementation of the marketing plan and successfully selling the product.
- Defining key success metrics and tracking framework for the go-to-market strategy and making recommendations for corrective actions in case of underperformance.
The following deliverables are expected from the Go-to-Market Consultant:
- A detailed report outlining the recommended go-to-market strategy.
- A comprehensive marketing plan and budget breakdown that outlines the tactics and activities required to execute the go-to-market strategy.
- Equipping the startups with monitoring and evaluation reports to support correcting actions to the go-to-market strategy, using key performance indicators relevant to the startup industry.
An organization or an individual, having the following expertise:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for new products.
- Experience working in or with startups is preferred.
