Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and the company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.
The ScaleSmart program aims to support pre-seed or seed startups working in different sectors to scale up by equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to plan a solid fundraising path, matching them with investors and investment opportunities, and improving their chances of successfully raising funds.
Scope of workThe ScaleSmart program seeks a go-to-market consultant to assist scaleups in setting the correct go-to-market strategy for successfully launching and promoting their software product to potential customers. The engagement includes one-on-one sessions with the startups for tailored guidance over the duration of 4 months to deliver the following:
- Assisting startups in developing/expanding their go-to-market strategy, that includes product positioning, pricing, distribution channels, and promotion, taking into consideration the unique characteristics and trends of the SaaS market.
- Assisting startups in creating a comprehensive marketing plan that outlines the tactics and activities required to execute the go-to-market strategy, including digital marketing, content marketing, social media marketing, and email marketing. This includes supporting the startups in determining the required budget for the marketing plan.
- Providing guidance and support to the internal marketing and sales team to ensure effective implementation of the marketing and go-to-market plan and successfully selling the SaaS product.
- Defining the success metrics of the go-to-market strategy using key performance indicators such as customer acquisition costs, customer lifetime value, and retention rates, etc.
The following deliverables are expected from the Go-to-Market Consultant:
- A detailed report outlining the recommended go-to-market strategy, specifically tailored to the startup’s SaaS industry.
- A comprehensive marketing plan that outlines the tactics and activities required to execute the go-to-market strategy, with specific focus on digital marketing channels.
- Equipping the startups with monitoring and evaluation reports to support future adjustments to the go-to-market strategy, using key performance indicators relevant to the SaaS industry.
The Go-to-Market Consultant should have the following qualifications:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in developing and executing successful sales and go-to-market strategies for SaaS companies.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the SaaS sales industry, including market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behaviors.
- Digital marketing experience, including search engine optimization, social media marketing, and email marketing.
