Life Skills Trainer ( beirut-Bekaa)

    • Design and deliver life skills training programs and workshops based on the needs of the target audience or participants.
    • Conduct assessments or surveys to identify the specific life skills gaps and requirements of the participants.
    • Develop curriculum, training materials, and resources for life skills training sessions.
    • Implement interactive and engaging training methodologies to promote active learning and participation.
    • Provide guidance, counseling, and support to participants in their personal growth and development.
    • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, such as program coordinators, educators, or counselors, to ensure effective integration of life skills training into existing programs or curriculum.
    • Monitor and evaluate the progress of participants, collect feedback, and make necessary adjustments to the training approach.

Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to the training activities and participant outcomes.

  1. Qualifications:
  • Experience:

Previous experience in delivering life skills training or related programs, preferably in a counseling, educational, or youth development setting. Experience working with diverse populations (e.g., youth, adults, marginalized communities) is desired.

  • Knowledge of Life Skills:

In-depth understanding of various life skills areas, including but not limited to communication, problem-solving, decision-making, goal-setting, time management, stress management, financial literacy, and personal development.

  • Training and Facilitation Skills:

Proven ability to design and facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions or workshops. Strong presentation skills, the ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment, and experience using different teaching methodologies are essential.

  • Counseling and Mentoring Skills:

Proficiency in providing guidance, counseling, and mentoring support to individuals or groups. Ability to foster personal growth, resilience, and self-awareness among participants.

  • Program Development and Evaluation:

-Experience in developing and implementing life skills training programs, including designing curriculum, creating educational materials, and selecting appropriate assessment tools.

-Knowledge of evaluation methods to measure the impact and effectiveness of training programs.

  • Communication Skills:

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with participants from diverse backgrounds.

-Ability to convey information clearly and adapt communication style to suit different learning styles and needs.

  • Empathy and Interpersonal Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport, trust, and positive relationships with participants. The ability to demonstrate empathy, active listening, cultural sensitivity, and respect for individual differences.

  • Organization and Time Management:

-Effective organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records.

-Ability to plan and coordinate training sessions, materials, and logistics efficiently.

  • Ethical Standards and Confidentiality:

Knowledge of and adherence to professional and ethical guidelines when working with participants, respecting confidentiality, privacy, and boundaries.
