The intern will support the ongoing CIP projects in Rashidieh, Burj El-Barajneh camps, and other newly established CIP projects. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Support in developing integrated spatial diagnosis of targeted refugee camps.
- Support in developing cartographic outputs of the ongoing camp improvement projects
- Provide GIS support to analysis, planning, and design inputs for the ongoing camp improvement projects
- Support the development of the technical and normative outputs of the camp improvement projects
- Support in strengthening CIP's visibility and knowledge management.

b) Be enrolled in an accredited graduate school programme (Master or higher or equivalent); or
c) Have graduated with a university degree (as defined in paragraphs a and b above) or
UNRWA Vocational Technical Centre, d) Field of study: urban planning, regional planning, urban design, architecture, architectural engineering, or any other equivalent field.
e) The candidate should have a portfolio of maps and designs of which they are the author.
f) Good cartographic skills are required.
g)The ability to perform geo-processing, geo-referencing, land use classification, orthorectification, and other GIS techniques is desirable.
h) Previous experience in GIS, urban planning, and design with proven experience in drawing, cartography, and preparing graphical material using computer-assisted design tools is an advantage.
i) Previous experience in developing contexts will be considered an asset.
j) Strong graphic representation skills and good hand drawing/sketching/mapping are assets.
