About the USAID-Funded Community Support Program (CSP) in Lebanon:

USAID’s Community Support Program is designed to improve the delivery of essential services and enhance economic opportunities, primarily in Lebanon’s North, South, and Beqaa regions. Through its support of municipalities and underserved and vulnerable communities, CSP aims to improve lives and reduce tensions that contribute to conflict and violence in the country.

Background:

The Lebanon Community Support Program (CSP), funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is hosting an online E-Learning hub, specifically designed for NGOs, Lebanese municipalities, Schools, and COOPs.  This hub serves as a comprehensive database comprising over 200 resources, which include training materials, reports, policies, and more. The resources cover a wide range of topics such as financial and strategic management, governance, social media management, tax laws, compliance, and more. This library started in 2013 with the USAID-funded project known as BALADI CAP, which aimed at building the institutional capacity of local CSOs and municipalities. In 2020, the responsibility for managing this valuable resource was transferred to the CSP.

Objective:

Through this solicitation, CSP is inviting Lebanese organizations, especially those who participated in the E-Learning Hub workshop held in May 2023, to submit Expressions of Interest for the exclusive ownership and hosting of this library.

The envisioned partnership entails the organization demonstrating its commitment and capability to host the online hub, maintain its accessibility and free availability, and expand it over time.
