Objective

The project implemented by Fair Trade Lebanon and PIN Slovakia brings the water to key locations by the installation of an irrigation network which enable the cultivation of unused lands and build the capacity of the vulnerable local population and refugees. 

This project aims at Introducing sustainable water infrastructure for rehabilitation of unused agricultural land and building the capacities of vulnerable local population in North Lebanon in response to economic and environmental crisis.

Within the scope of the project’s overall objective, the action aims at reaching the following outcomes: 

• Outcome 1: to cover the excavated road which is 465 meters in length and 50 cm in width with asphalt or concrete for a 7 cm of thickness.

Fair Trade Lebanon is looking for a contractor to do the work in the area of the project.

Deliverables:

• The contractor should finish the work and deliver it on time.

Requirements & conditions

• Contractor should be a registered entity
• Contractor should present official invoice
• The service provider must deliver all the items to Kobayat- Katlabeh-Akkar 
• The contractor will submit a completion report

Evaluation

• The bidder’s evaluation process will consider following with assigned weights:
• Financial ......................................... 40%
• Technical ........................................ 50%
• Reputation & Reference Check ...... 10%

      Payment Terms

• Payments will be made only through bank transfer or bank cheques
• The price will be paid in USD while the VAT will be paid in LBP based on the official exchange rate on the date of the invoice.
• The vendor should have a fresh USD bank account.
