Michel Daher Foundation (MDF) invites eligible companies to submit their tenders for the supply of brand-new solar systems for the Energy Audit to Improve Cost Efficiency for Industrialists project.

Existing Solar System Rehabilitation

Item: Mounting Steel Structure

Specifications:

• Existing steel structure (for 36 panels) does not comply with all safety measures, so it needs to be fortified.
• Orientation shall be adjusted because the panels’ orientation in the meantime is not optimal.
• Some of the panels (11) are north-oriented: to be adjusted as well.

Item: Electrical Works

Specifications:

• Panels are not properly grouped or segmented into the strings: four strings exist in the meantime at 14, 13, 6, and 5 panels each respectively. This is to be optimized.
• Fuse holders, fuses, DC breakers, and DC SPD are to be installed to all the strings (including all needed components and accessories).
• SPD AC (4 poles) to be replaced.
• The routing wires are not properly installed in many places, and they come into contact with steel wires and beams in several places. Some MC4 connectors are installed in areas that are highly exposed to rain and water: all of these are to be rectified. PV wires (6mm2)
