ICT Service Provider

Mada is seeking a qualified service provider to support the organization in all IT-related issues. The service provider should be based in Beirut, and preferably have also offices or ability to provide services to the office in Tripoli.

The service provider will ensure:

• On call-maintenance service (remote support) – Monday through Friday.
• Visits every 3 months to the two offices (Beirut and Tripoli), for regular maintenance for all devices.

Key Task and Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting Internet connection for desktops, laptops, and Internet when requested
• Troubleshooting email access problems (sending/receiving)
• Troubleshooting Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Troubleshooting printing, scanning and faxing problems
• Escalating and coordinating with third party suppliers of hardware when required.
• Anti-virus disinfection and data recovery.
• Maintenance of hardware.
• Software installations, patching and system upgrades.
• Provide advice on any technical issues.
• System cleaning and checking, provision and verifying of backup data.
• Add/change/delete email accounts
• Validate backup of electronic data performed through the backup server
• Confirm IT purchase requests, confirm and track IT invoices, assist with IT forecasting
• Build specifications and design documents for new requested software to improve operations
• Assist negotiating terms, contracts, and maintenance with third party suppliers if any
• Perform updates of critical patches on servers and critical applications
• Perform disk cleanup and systems check on scheduled basis
• Ensure appropriate backup of servers and systems
• Recover as best as possible systems and data from crashed applications
• Recommend failover and disaster recovery procedures were applicable to minimize risk of failure and ensure continuity of business operations while systems are being recovered.

Qualifications

• Registered companies with relevant experience
• Experience with NGOs is a preferred.
• Offices/services in Tripoli available
