Bar Back

Key Accountabilities :

• Efficiently and continuously re-stock bartender with liquor, ice, fruit, straws and napkins as necessary.Ensures bar is well-stocked
• Keeps the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeps and mopes, removes soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles.
• Learns about menu items and memorizing cocktail recipes.
• Takes orders, prepares drinks, and processes payments especially during peak hours
• Speaks to customers, answering questions, handling complaints
• Maintains records and report levels of usage to assist in the reordering process and ensuring that delivered items are stored properly.
• Consistently collects, washes, sanitizes and re-stocks all glass and barware for repeated bartender use.
• Stocks refrigerating units with wines.
• Washes glasses, bar tops and back counters polished bar fixtures, mopped floors and removed empty bottles and trash.
