Data Management Assistant

Monitoring and Evaluation

· Input monitoring data received from field teams into the NABAD databases.

· Input all monitoring data received from field teams into required reporting formats for donor reporting.

· Analyze and disaggregate data to feed into monthly reporting.

· Work with MEL team to integrate MEL into ongoing program planning and implementation systems and ensure adherence to NABAD MEL minimum standards.

· Ensure the development of appropriate monitoring, tracking and reporting systems, tools and templates that enhance monitoring of program outputs and quality, generate quality evidence on program impact and promote and ensure use of data for decision-making processes.

· Assist in conducting assessments and evaluations.

· Contribute to understanding of and support for mobile data collection hardware and software when applicable (ODK, KoBo).

Data Analysis, Reporting and Evidence Based Advocacy

· Support program teams in data analysis and management.

· Coordinate with program team to review indicator updates on a monthly basis.

· Liaise with other project teams and MEL staff as required to ensure that the project databases complement and align with each other.

· Review or edit data in reports as requested and required.

· Develop program operational reporting templates that facilitate the acquisition and aggregation of information in program.

· Produce analytical summaries: graphs, charts, tables, narratives and appealing visuals, as requested, to fulfill internal and external reporting requirements and advocacy purposes.

Accountability

· Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to Nabad and to not jeopardize its humanitarian mission.

Technical specific knowledge: Experience with data entry, charts, and graphs organization. Oversees the development and use of data systems, ensuring effective data management, secure procedures. Experience working with donors. Advanced computer skills and experience developing data management systems. Experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methodologies required. Team player who takes initiative, is a problem-solver and able to multi-task. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Written and oral communication skills in Arabic and English. Detail-oriented and highly organized.

IT and specific systems:

Microsoft Windows, Compulsory expertise in Excel, Power BI and Access is a plus.
