Volunteer Social Worker

The volunteer will be helping the Social Worker in the following areas:

• Beneficiaries Assessment and Case Management: Conduct thorough assessments of incoming clients to identify their needs, strengths, and potential risks. Develop individualized case management plans with clients, setting achievable goals and outlining necessary interventions and services.
• Coordinate and ensure that families have access to safe and comfortable shelter facilities.
• Work with relevant staff to provide necessities such as food, clothing, and medications.
• Engaging in direct case management through face-to-face interactions or phone communications, ensuring both existing and new cases receive orientation, referrals, and necessary follow-up support.
• Establishing a comprehensive orientation network with a pathway by collecting, managing, and archiving data related to beneficiaries.
• Regularly submitting monthly reports on the social work department's activities and operations.
• Ensuring accurate and up-to-date entry of all social files into the database.
• Taking the lead in planning and executing activities and assessments tailored to each project's specific requirements.
• Creating and maintaining the attendance sheet of beneficiaries, closely monitoring their participation and progress.
• Safeguarding the confidentiality of case records, progress notes, and service reports, ensuring accuracy and precision in documentation.
• Advocating for the rights and welfare of mothers and children, striving to meet their needs and ensuring their voices are acknowledged and valued.
