The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is a non-governmental, humanitarian organization with 60 years of experience in helping to create a safer and more dignified life for refugees and internally displaced people. NRC advocates for the rights of displaced populations and offers assistance within the shelter, education, emergency food security, legal assistance, and water, sanitation and hygiene sectors.
Activities Overview/Summary:
The main purpose of an ICLA volunteer is to support ICLA team in data entry, photocopying, scanning and archiving.
Activities:
- The volunteer will be responsible for data entry of NRC ICLA beneficiaries on a daily basis.
- He /She will be responsible for archiving of documents.
- He / she will be responsible on scanning and photocopying documents of beneficiaries, IFP tool kit.
Qualifications and Relevant Skills:
- Bachelor degree in social sciences, humanities or related field.
- Previous work experience in data collection (in Arabic) as part of a research team – preferably in social work, non-government, and/or outreach organizations.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
