Awareness & Outreach Officer

A. GENERAL DESCRIOTION

The Awareness and Outreach Officer plays a critical role in promoting the organization's mission and projects through effective communication and awareness and outreach activities. They are responsible for raising awareness about the organization’s services, and events, as well as engaging with target audiences through various channels. They will take part in various capacity building trainings and workshops and and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance visibility and impact.

C. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

I- Implement Awareness and Outreach sessions:

  • Support project coordinators in planning the logistics for awareness and outreach sessions.
  • Ensure material related to the activities are secured before its date and returned to the office within 24h of it.
  • Conduct mental health awareness and outreach sessions and booths.
  • Adapt, with the overview of awareness and outreach coordinator the content of awareness and outreach sessions for different publics.
  • Use interactive and engaging techniques for awareness activities.
  • Overview and distribute awareness and outreach material.

II- Metrics and reporting

  • Ensure proper filing of attendance sheets and project documents;
  • Follow up on all paper work and reporting needed from the field;
  • Conduct phone calls and follow up with stakeholders, if necessary;   
  • Submit monthly reports on the activities conducted;
  • Fill department forms and keep track of awareness and outreach supplies and equipment used in activities.

D. QUALIFICATONS

  • Master Degree in Clinical Psychology .
  • Minimum one year of experience in public speaking positions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team, on field and in office.
  • Excellent level in Arabic and English, verbal and written.
  • Ability to commute to rural areas across Lebanon, motorized.
