GTM & Sales Workshop– DAWERR Incubation Program

Context & Background  

Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and the company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.  

This Incubation Program is a program  designed and managed by  BERYTECH under the DAWERR Activity, a 5-year Activity funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) with the goal to establish sustainable and replicable integrated solid waste diversion and valorization solutions in rural areas of Lebanon. 

Under DAWERR program, BERYTECH will provide business and technical assistance and other needs to support 3 incubated startup teams in scaling their operations.

Scope of work 

The DAWERR Activity team seeks a Trainer to deliver a workshop over 1 day covering GTM & Sales and 2 x 1-1 sessions for each of the 3 startups (6 sessions in total). The workshop will have the following scope:

  • Introduction to different go-to-market models
  • Enable startups with the tools and frameworks to plan their launch or expansion. 
  • Guide the startups towards developing collaborations and partnerships to serve their go to market plan. 
  • Guide the startups in defining go to market success metrics. 
  • Equip startups with strategies to scale operations effectively.
  • Guide the startups in designing sales funnels and customer journey maps to optimize the sales process.
  • Share sales tactics for B2B engagements and tips for developing compelling sales messages

More Details 

  • Workshop length is 6 hours and will be delivered in-person over 1 day

Throughout the workshop, interactive activities, case studies, and group discussions customized to the scope of the project and profile of the ventures will be incorporated to facilitate hands-on learning.

  1. 1-1 Sessions 
  2. Following the workshop, the expert is expected to hold 2 x 1-1 meetings with each of the 3 startups. The 1x1 session is designed to be one hour in length, to offer detailed feedback to each startup regarding their GTM and Sales strategy. 

 Expected Deliverables  

Key Deliverables: 

  • PowerPoint Presentation for the workshop 
  • Supporting templates
  • Submit a report to the program management team after each 1-1 session; covering progress, challenges faced, and recommendations provided to each startup .

Qualifications  

  • Experience in delivering similar training to SMEs (Small Medium Enterprises) with a minimum of 7 years of experience
  • Effective communicator with any audience in an organized, professional manner
  • Desire to deeply understand and empathize with our users
  • Prior experience working with startups in the waste management field is a plus

Expert trainers will be selected based on: 

  • Expert bio, proven track records and experience in the required field 
  • Budget scope 
  • Availability during the month of November/December for the delivery of the workshop and subsequent 1-1 sessions
