Contractor

The contractor shall provide the following service: 

  • Attend a one-day training session focused on the impact monitoring system and the surveying process for beneficiaries of EPL implementing partners. 
  • Conduct interviews with 900 beneficiaries who have completed labor market measures, recording their responses in the KOBO survey. 
  • Interview 250 companies that received HR consultancies through EPL implementing partners and input the findings into the KOBO survey. 
  • Update beneficiary profiles in the EPL implementing partners' databases, addressing any outdated information. 
  • Generate weekly reports detailing the progress of interviews for submission to the EPL monitoring and evaluation specialist. 
  • Ensure strict adherence to interview guidelines, including compliance with data collection quality standards. 
  • Implement measures to enhance the accuracy and reliability of data collected during interviews. 
  • Collaborate with EPL implementing partners to address any challenges or discrepancies in the interview process. 
  • Provide timely feedback to the monitoring and evaluation specialist on any emerging trends or issues identified during interviews. 
  • Maintain a comprehensive log of interview activities, ensuring documentation of key milestones and challenges. 
  • Collaborate with other team members to streamline and improve the overall efficiency of the interview and data collection process. 
  • Participate in periodic training sessions or workshops to stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in impact monitoring and survey methodologies. 
  • Foster positive relationships with beneficiaries and companies to enhance cooperation and data accuracy in future interviews. 
  • Regularly review and refine interview protocols and procedures to align with evolving project goals and objectives. 
  • Introduce and describe the data privacy document to the beneficiaries before the interviews. 
  • Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all aspects of the interview and data collection process following the data privacy document. 

Qualifications:

  • Education:  A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as economics, social sciences, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • Professional experience: Proven 2 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation, survey techniques, assessment methodologies or labor market studies. 
  • Experience in the region/knowledge of the country 
  • 2 years of experience in Lebanon. 
  • Language skills business 
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Transversal skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare clear and concise reports and effectively communicate with beneficiaries and partner organizations.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges that may arise during the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with beneficiaries, partner organizations, and other stakeholders.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity, especially when working with diverse groups of beneficiaries and stakeholders.
