Community Based PSS Volunteers (Tyre and Saida)

• Actively participate in trainings delivered by the organization related to the designed role.
• Assist, develop and implement age-appropriate recreational and psychosocial activities for children in their community after creating groups of the identified children.
• Assist in ensuring that all children participate in the activities in nondiscriminatory age and gender appropriateness.
• Provide feedback to the organization’s focal point on the types of activities to be developed for children and parents in the community. 
• Inform parents of the objectives benefits of the activities that are conducted to the children.
• Participate in identifying children requiring more targeted psychosocial activities/support and inform organization’s focal point. 
• Identify children at risk of harm or being harmed and refer them as per the procedure to the organization’s focal point.
• Ensure that the children feel safe, comfortable and respected.
• Ensure that the activities are done in a clean and hazard free location.
• Ensure that the space, floor and playground are clean.
• Ensure that the material appropriately used and later stored in a safe way at the end of the day.
• Respect and abide to the organization’s internal code of conduct.
• Collect attendance of children in the activities, and fill in weekly reports as required by M&E section.
• Close groups successfully.
