Project Assistant - North

Essential Functions & Areas of Accountabilities

  • Processing procurements as per RI procurement policies. 
  • Running anti-terrorist checks and Enhanced Due Diligence.
  • Providing the program team with estimated prices upon request.
  • Preparing cash advance requests and settlement upon need.
  • Assisting with the identification of new suppliers.
  • Following up with the suppliers regarding the payments.
  • Scanning and saving files on Box.
  • Assisting, upon need, with additional tasks related to the SCO department.
  • To look for the education centers and for equipping the education centers and following up on the operational tasks inside the centers (Including: Consumables, furniture, utilities, fuel and Maintenance).
  • Ensure Coordination with program team in the centers and SCO staff in North office.

Work Coordination (Direct Reporting, Dotted Line work coordination and interdepartmental)

The job holder reports directly to the SCO Officer for follow up, supervision and segregation of tasks and duties in alignment with RI policies and procedures.

 

Operating Environment                              

The Job Holder will be working from RI’s North office in Lebanon, which is located in Koura. The Job Holder will be expected to make visits to Beirut office, Learning Centers in Aakar and implementation locations in order to support the program needs.
