UNICEF intends to assess the WASH components (Water, Sanitation, Hygiene, Environmental cleaning, Waste management) in 500 Primary health care centres, dispensaries, and hospitals in Lebanon using a pre-designed assessment template.
This assessment will allow to determine the resources required to improve WASH in healthcare facilities for future investments in Lebanon.
The work shall include but not limited to:
- Structural assessment of the latrines, toilets, sewage networks and disposal systems.
- Structural assessment of the water sources, water treatment systems and piping systems.
- Assessment of the cleaning & hygiene system and its processes.
- Assessment of the solid waste management system particularly the management of medical waste.

Education: A minimum of a first level university degree in engineering, preferably mechanical, civil or architecture.
Skills: Excellent communication skills.
