Social worker ( 1x Beqaa - 1 x Beirut )

The Social worker will be responsible for:

1-Identification of women and girls with disabilities.

• 2-Offering social information and support for women and girls with disabilities.
• 3-Monitoring planned actions by periodic follow-up.

• 4-Community-based intervention process and conduct awareness sessions as planned within the project.

• 5-Liaising with, and making referrals to, other organizations;
• 6-Participating in multidisciplinary teams and meetings.
• 7-Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.
• 8-Participating in training, supervision, and team meetings.
• 9-Evaluating services provided to ensure that they are effective.
• 10-Participating and being active in working groups.
• 11-Volunteer work when needed is a part of TOR.  
• 12- Monthly reporting and monthly plans of activities.

• Skills and Qualifications:

• 1-Experience working with Persons with disabilities, and proof of refugee context is an additional.
• 2-Ability to give full attention to what social service persons/families are saying, understand the points being made, ask questions, and not interrupt inappropriately.
• 3-Awareness of others’ reactions and understanding why they react as they do.
• 4-Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
• 5-Proficient in word, excel, and PowerPoint.
• 6-Ability to stay calm and empathize with clients when they are upset.
• 7-Able to develop an intervention plan.
• 8-Knowledge of crisis intervention.
