Peace of Art is looking for a Media Officer residing around Ain, Baalbeck-Hermel who is to be present in person at Peace of Art’s Office full time.
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and compelling scripts/storyboard for video content that align with the organization's mission and goals.
- Capture high-quality photos and videos of various activities, events, and relevant subjects covered by the organization.
- Edit and produce short films and video content for social media platforms, ensuring consistency in style, tone, and messaging, as well as alignment with the organization’s identity.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of media content, offering recommendations for improvement and optimization.
- Maintain a well-organized archive of media assets to facilitate easy access and retrieval for future use, as well as accessibility for the relevant members.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in digital media production and storytelling.
- Design artworks and designs for different projects, ensuring alignment with the organization's branding and messaging.
- Develop and implement a social media calendar and a weekly, monthly and annual plan.
- Gather and publish content on various social media platforms, as well as manage messages, replies and communications.
- Prepare visual and written content for social media outlets, website, newsletters, etc.
- Develop, write, and edit communication materials, including press releases, posts, and social media content, mentions and tags for relevant stakeholders and partners.
- Administer Peace of Art's website, ensuring it remains up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines.
- Monitor and manage the organization's online reputation, including handling online reviews and responding to customer inquiries.
- Understand and follow visibility and online presence guidelines and standards, including those agreed upon with partners and supporters, making sure privacy and security of all data is ensured.
Requirements:
- Exceptional writing and editing skills in both English and Arabic.
- Ability to design and Write a newsletter.
- Proficient in marketing and communication strategies.
- Computer proficiency in Word, design software, film editing software (Adobe Premiere and Photoshop).
- Strong photography and video editing capabilities.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Proactive planning and creativity.
- Experience in networking and communications.
- Demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of popular social media outlets (Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding and proficiency of important media management, editing and design platforms including Adobe, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva… And strong knowledge in social media algorithms and patterns.
