We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Program Development Officer. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, implementation, and success of innovative programs that positively impact our communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote Ruwad alHoukouk and its initiatives.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and other key stakeholders.
- Write and edit press releases, articles, and other communication materials.
- Coordinate and manage media events, press conferences, and interviews.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports for internal and external use.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation.
- Manage social media accounts and engage with online communities to enhance [NGO Name]'s visibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations & Communications.
- Proven experience in public relations, media relations, or a related role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experienced in reporting, and monitoring and evaluation.
- Knowledge of human rights principles and standards.
- Proficient in the use of computers and relevant applications for data analysis, program modelling, and document management.
- Commitment to Ruwad alHoukouk's mission and values.
- Availability to join 2nd January 2024.
