Conflict Sensitivity Co-Trainer

WHO WE ARE

Overview

Thread of Peace, commonly known as House of Peace started
to form as a local initiative in 2012 but was officially registered in 2019.
The organization was formed by a group of young people who were together
searching for meaning and for a sense of belonging during a time of change.
Their diverse backgrounds and common purpose made them a valuable team, giving
humanitarian assistance to displaced people, hoping that the message of hope
would spread through their diversity to contribute to building a better future.
The “family” formed gradually grew and its mission persisted despite the fact
that many of its founders have moved on. The “House of Peace” thrived as a
virtual house holding an ever-expanding family with a humanitarian mission of
promoting peace in society and advocating for conflict sensitivity.
