About Berytech:

Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.

About FFE:

Femme Francophone Entrepreneure project was created by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) in the Middle East in partnership with Berytech and l’Orient le Jours with the aim of fostering business development and promoting female entrepreneurship in Lebanon.

FFE supports women entrepreneurs in their business creation projects thanks to financial support and a specially adapted environment. The AUF grants a subsidy to the best projects and Berytech provides the necessary support for business creation. The grant obtained makes it possible to cover incubation costs over six months.

The scope of work is divided into two services:

Component 1: Market Study/Research

• Market Assessment
• Pricing Strategy
• Competitive Analysis
• Develop a Market research plan
• Market Data Collection Review / Analysis
• Market mapping and segmentation
• Analyze findings and recommendations

Component 2: Financial Analysis

• Financial Statements Analysis
• Cash Flow Projections and forecasting.
• Cost Structure Analysis
• Benchmarking and Comparative Analysis
• Profitability plan

The consultant should choose one or two of the pre-mentioned options, each one related to their specific field of expertise while adding personal input and complementary suggestions to meet the desired outcome based on the startup’s needs. The consultancy service intervention timeline is from March 1st till May 15th

The experts' deliverables should include the following key aspects for the startup's success:

• Recommendations for market entry or expansion, including strategies for product positioning, pricing, and distribution.
• A detailed report outlining the findings of the market study, including market size, growth trends, segmentation, and key drivers.
• Analysis of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) to assess the financial health and performance of the business.
• Financial modeling is to estimate revenue, expenses, and profitability under different scenarios.

 
The expected deliverables include:

• Executive Summary of findings
• Market Study Report
• Financial Analysis Report

• Applications to this proposal can be from independent trainers/consultants, Corporate or Agency.
• The service provider should have at least 5 years of experience in working with startups.
• Effective communicator with any audience in an organized and professional manner.
• Use of tools and methods to finalize the consultancy mission with the support of the beneficiary.
• Have previous experience in providing consultancy services to startups.
• Substantial professional experience in market research, financial analysis, or a related field.
• Knowledge in the creative industries sector.
• Understanding of the industry or market in question, including current trends, challenges, and opportunities.

The budget should not exceed 3.000 Euros.
