Project Coordinator - Choueifat

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Act as a project focal point and attend meetings with implementing partners and relevant stakeholders.
  • Manages day-to-day operations answering incoming calls and online queries from all involved stakeholders, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory 
  • Oversees the implementation process from Launching, Outreach and selection, training activities, and data collection
  • Ensure that the projects’ activities meet their intended targets
  • Monitor the project’s expenditures and reports potential changes to the project manager.
  • Coordinate with the Accountant to accomplish financial tasks related to projects’ implementation, including preparation of money transfers, petty cash, and processing of invoices.
  • Oversee procurement process with the outreach/field officers
  • Oversee data collection for the monitoring and evaluation process
  • Reports to Project Manager

Additional duties and responsibilities 

  • Actively participate in all training sessions as directed by management including SEA-related training sessions and awareness-raising efforts
  • Uphold the code of conduct, Child Protection Policy, and all RE policies
  • Support for dissemination of PSEA materials
  • Report in good faith all potential allegations of SEA (even if not evidenced) through the Child Protection Focal Point. 
  • Coordinate with other staff of the project
  • Other tasks as directed by the Project Manager

Education, Experience, and Skills

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in fields of social work, economics, human resources, and/or other relevant fields.
  • Excellent reporting, communication, interpersonal skills, and proactive negotiation skills.
  • Skilled in working with people of all ages and social groups.
  • Skilled in working with local communities and authorities
  • A high degree of personal initiative with the desire and ability to meet aggressive programmatic goals.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills. Able to multi-task and work through stringent deadlines while maintaining focus on priorities.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with thorough knowledge of Arabic and English
  • Availability and willingness to work outside regular office hours occasionally
