ABOUT THE PROJECT
Seenaryo is looking for a diverse group of youth, aged between 18 - 25 years, and living in Lebanon to join a new participatory theatre project, in partnership with Seeds for Legal Initiatives and funded by the UN Democracy fund.
Don't hesitate to apply below. We're hoping to bring together a diverse group from all regions of Lebanon, who are open to engaging with new ideas.
The chosen participants will create an original play inspired by a political issue. They will then take leadership training and receive a budget to lead their own political theatre project and/or advocacy campaign.
It is a two-year project leading up to the January 2026 elections.
PROJECT TIMELINE
April 2024: training with SEEDS for Legal Initiatives
May to August 2024: group devises and rehearses their play.
September to December 2024: groups tour the play to 15 theatres and schools in Lebanon.
2025: group takes leadership training and independently lead projects
