Grants and Program Manager

Tasks:

  • Research and identify potential grant opportunities relevant to the NGO's mission and objectives.
  • Develop, write, and submit compelling grant proposals and applications in collaboration with the NGO’s team.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with funding organizations, including government agencies, foundations, and corporate sponsors.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of funded programs, ensuring compliance with grantor guidelines and objectives.
  • Coordinate with different departments within the NGO to effectively manage and implement programs funded by grants.
  • Manage program budgets, track expenditures, and prepare financial reports for funders.
  • Evaluate the impact of programs and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay updated on trends and changes in grant funding and NGO sector practices.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on grant application processes and best practices.
  • Represent the NGO in various stakeholder meetings and networking events.

Responsibilities:

  • Degree in business administration or equivalent.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Budgeting and accounting experience.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Knowledge of auditing policies.
  • Knowledge of donor agencies.
  • Strong writing skills.
