Field Officer

The Rene Moawad Foundation is seeking to recruit a field officer for its project entitled "Fostering Unity through Accessible WASH Services in North Lebanon" under SHABAKE 2 supported by AFD – Agence Francaise de Developpement and implemented by the French public agency for international technical cooperation Expertise France.

Position summary

The field Officer will be responsible of the day-to-day field operations, and will be the primary contact between target beneficiaries and communities and the Project Coordinator/Project Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Facilitate the work of the local team on various levels.
• Summarize, evaluate and update on a regular basis the programs in accordance with the established planning schedules.
• Maintain regular contact with local working partners
• Liaise with other organizations if needed.
• Determine any changes to the plan and report to the Project Coordinator /Project Manager
• Contribute to the weekly, monthly activities report.
• Assisting in filling, collecting all needed data. (questionnaire, pre-test, post-test, attendance sheets)
• Identify and report success stories.
• Capture photos for the ongoing activities.
• Follow on the attendance of the beneficiaries.

Functional Competencies:

• 2-3 years’ field experience.
• A post-graduate degree or equivalent bachelor degree
• Strong experience in donors –funded projects.
• Experience in working with partners
• Experience reporting on project activities (required) as well as research and data collection (desired)
• Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic; French is a plus.
• Excellent reporting, communication and interpersonal skills.
