Job Objective

Social workers work with specific groups of beneficiaries, including children, the elderly and families in crisis, and help them to solve the problems they're facing.

Main Tasks

•             Handle the outreach process according to the project’s objectives.

•             Form students’ groups based on program requirements and individual needs.

•             Develop detailed schedule to achieve the required sessions within specified timeframes.

•             Maintain regular communication with educators to ensure the smooth delivery of sessions.

•             Provide daily follow-ups to educators, addressing concerns and providing necessary support.

•             Receive and review weekly plans and reports from educators, offering feedback and guidance.

•             Monitor daily activities and attendance.

•             Follow up with Caregivers regarding absence and dropouts.

•             Attend monthly meetings.

•             Prepare and send comprehensive monthly report.

•             Send the updated data to the M&E department on a monthly basis.

•             Coordinate with the admin regarding the snacks, transportation and material needed.

•             Prepare and conduct awareness sessions for the caregivers using the given curricula.

•             Identify and refer students with disabilities or any student needs to be referred to a specific service internally or externally.

Qualifications

-              Bachelor degree in social work or any other related field.

-              At least 2 years of experience in social work.

-              Fluent in Arabic (Speaking, Reading and Writing)

-              Fluent in English (Speaking, Reading and Writing)

-              French is a plus (Speaking, Reading and Writing)

-             Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

-              Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

-              Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.

-              Be an active and dynamic member in a multidisciplinary team (versatility, adaptability. flexibility)
