ICT Officer

DOT Lebanon is seeking to recruit ICT Officer who has experience working on ICT systems, the development and implementation of ERP, LMS, Cloud servers, Google Workspace Admin, and Assets Management systems to ensure they meet the organization's needs and are secure. He/she should provide technical support while managing the infrastructure and ensuring data security.

• Implement ICT strategies and new technologies as required
• Administrate all IT systems including ERP, LMS/Moodle, cloud servers(Ubuntu), Assets Management system and Google Workspace
• Assist in the budgeting of the IT Unit and offer guidance on the appropriate technical specifications 
• Facilitate the procurement of new ICT Hardware & Software
• Install, configure, maintain, and repair computer hardware, software, systems, printers, scanners, and networks, ensuring that they are functioning efficiently and effectively (this may be in person or over the phone) using a ticketing system
• Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models and build technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
• Manage subscriptions and licenses as required and on time
• Assist in the induction of new employees on all DOT Lebanon systems
• Management of antivirus system for the organization, ensuring comprehensive protection against cyber threats
• Research state-of-the-art technology solutions, approaches and new open-source applications
• Coordinate activities with vendors and outside consultants to provide support for systems and applications
