A Mental Health Project Officer is responsible for the comprehensive planning, implementation, and oversight of mental health programs and initiatives. This role entails developing detailed project plans, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring that all activities are executed effectively and within scope. The officer engages and collaborates with a wide range of stakeholders, including community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies, to foster partnerships and enhance program impact. They are also tasked with developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks to measure the effectiveness of the programs, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, the Project Officer organizes and conducts training sessions and workshops to build capacity among staff, volunteers, and community members. They must ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations and maintain accurate documentation and records. The role demands strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of mental health issues and best practices.
