PSL Livelihood Coordinator

The Rene Moawad Foundation (RMF) is seeking a “Livelihood Coordinator” for its USAID-funded “Promoting Sustainable Livelihoods- PSL” Activity. The PSL is implemented over the course of 7 years (ending 2027) and aims to improve the livelihoods of residents of target communities through training, technical assistance, infrastructure rehabilitation, and marketing and improve and upgrade existing assets in their communities. The PSL is targeting Lebanese communities in the North, Bekaa, South, Baalback El-Hermel and Mount Lebanon areas, with focus on the sectors of Agriculture/Agri-business, Tourism and Light Industry. 

Position summary

The Livelihood Coordinator will be responsible to coordinate the implementation of the different interventions, assist in developing PSL annual working plans, developing progress reports and other duties as assigned by the Livelihood Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support in the development of the grants and interventions’ proposals,
  • Actively participate in the weekly meetings with Operation Managers to ensure proper implementation of activities,
  • Following up with the partners on the proposed interventions,
  • Collecting/Ensuring submission of progress reports and minutes of meetings/success stories/ surveys other required documents associated with Project activities during the Life of the Project and communicate these to PSL Livelihood Manager,
  • Support in the preparation of the procurement documents,
  • Follow up regularly with the implementation team and liaise the progress to the Livelihood Manager,
  • Ensuring proper implementation and monitoring of selected interventions at targeted clusters, and,
  • Other tasks to be agreed with the Livelihood Manager

Education and Experience

  • Should be holder of a bachelor degree in social science or any or another related field with at least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in NGOs field operations, preferably on USAID projects
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic; French is a plus.
  • Excellent reporting, communication and interpersonal skills.
