Quality Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement QMS:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) for the organization.
  • Assemble, document, and code all relevant policies, procedures, and forms.
  • Create and maintain a digital system for the QMS documentation.

Review and Align Policies and Procedures:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of existing policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Make necessary updates and modifications to align with the latest standards and practices.

Documentation and Coding:

  • Develop a systematic approach for documenting and coding policies, procedures, and forms.
  • Ensure consistency, clarity, and accessibility of all QMS documents.

Digital System Management:

 

  • Design and implement a user-friendly digital system to manage QMS documentation.
  • Ensure the digital system allows for easy access, retrieval, and version control of documents.
  • Train staff on the use and management of the digital QMS system.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

 

  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the QMS.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Certification in Quality Management Systems is preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality management or a related field.

Strong knowledge of QMS principles, standards, and best practices.

Experience in developing and implementing QMS documentation and digital systems.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in using digital tools and software for QMS management.

Experience in Microsoft Visio, Bizagi or any other similar systems

Strong communication and training skills.

Deliverables:

Comprehensive QMS documentation including policies, procedures, and forms.

A fully functional digital system for QMS management.

Continuous improvement plans and implementation reports.

Reporting:

The Quality Officer will report directly to head of HR and will provide regular updates on the progress and effectiveness of the QMS.
