Developing a script for a 10-episode satirical web series

The Samir Kassir Foundation is seeking a script writer to develop the script for a 10-episode short web-series (5-10 min/episode). The purpose of the series is to address the misconceptions, stereotypes, and prejudices surrounding the issue of Syrian refugees in Lebanon, and to carry a reasonable, objective, and factual discourse infused with humor on the matter to a wider audience. 

Individual artists and organizations are invited to submit their proposals by 30 June 2024.

 

Eligibility criteria:

  • Proven track record in performing, writing or producing satirical shows/content
  • Prior experience in working on social and political content

 

Proposal sections:

Interested individuals or firms must submit a narrative description that includes a brief synopsis or explanation of the writing approach, and the cost in US Dollars per episode.
