Career Guidance Trainer

Under Nafaal Project (Funded by Al Ghoureir Association) LOST is seeking to recruit a Career Guidance trainer to provide training for the targeted beneficiaries in Taalabeya/ Qabelias.

Job Description:

 

  • Deliver comprehensive career guidance training to youth, focusing on the skills and knowledge needed for effective career decision-making and planning.
  • Create training modules that cover career guidance topics such as self-assessment, career exploration, goal setting, job search strategies, resume writing, and interview preparation.
  • Lead interactive training sessions with activities, discussions, and case studies to engage youth and deepen their understanding of career concepts and practices.
  • Provide personalized support and guidance to youth as they explore career options, set goals, and create action plans for their chosen career paths.
  • Supply resources, tools, and practical advice to help youth overcome obstacles and navigate challenges in their career exploration and job search.
  • Facilitate workshops and group activities to develop self-awareness, confidence, decision-making, and problem-solving skills essential for career success.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where youth feel empowered to explore their interests, talents, and aspirations, and make informed career decisions.
  • Work with career counselors, mentors, and industry professionals to offer additional support and guidance, connecting youth with relevant resources and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Education, Sociology, Human Services, Business Administration
  • 5 years of experience is a must 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with team members
  • Ability to show a positive and collaborative approach toward diversity
  • Flexibility and ability to deal with cultural differences
  • Fluency in English and Arabic

All staff must ensure that they understand and act in accordance with this clause.
