- Develop skills in creating, implementing, and tracking comprehensive monitoring plans, including data collection, maintenance, and analysis.
- Gain practical experience in field travel to support monitoring activities, discuss corrective measures, and apply findings during the project design phase.
- Identify and analyze critical challenges, lessons learned, and best practices from monitoring findings, and communicate these effectively to stakeholders.
- Gain expertise in compiling reports for projects, programs, and strategies, and learn to monitor endorsement procedures and reporting schedules.
- Support data entry for UN reporting platforms such as UN INFO and Lebanon Aid Tracking.
- Develop skills in preparing inputs for project development based on specific needs and situation analysis.
- Support the “do no harm” principle and promote Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) by developing effective accountability mechanisms.
- Support communications staff to utilize monitoring data and evaluation findings for public relations and compile human interest stories for publishing.
- Stay informed about internal frameworks for monitoring and Results Based Management (RBM) to ensure compliance with IOM’s strategies and standards
- Support with other related tasks as may be required.
